Becoming a Millvale Franciscan Associate

The Sisters of St. Francis of Millvale invite women and men to join in our life, prayer and mission of proclaiming the Gospel in word and deed. As a Millvale Franciscan Associate, you will have an opportunity to enhance your personal relationship with God.
The Millvale Franciscan Associates follow the example of St. Francis in living and proclaiming the Gospel message as a way of life.
Candidates, who wish to grow in our Christian faith, spirituality and charism, must complete five sessions of orientation. Lay men and women who demonstrate this desire to share of their time and skill in service to others are then welcomed as members of the association.

• Associates gather monthly for: prayer, study in Franciscan and gospel living, socializing, mutual support
  
• Associates maintain: personal lifestyle, financial independence, work
  
• Associates may join the sisters for: spiritual retreats, workshops, community days, Liturgy and prayer, friendship and fun
